Beth M. McCormick, a member of the Senior Executive Service, was appointed as the Director for the Defense Technology Security Administration on October 1, 2013. In her current capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing DoD technology security policies for international transfer of defense-related goods, services, and technologies. She manages a staff of 220 including policy analysts, engineers, and licensing officers.

Mr. Michael Laychak, a member of the Senior Executive Service, serves as the Deputy Director for the Defense Technology Security Administration. In this capacity he assists the Director with managing a staff of over 220 policy analysts, engineers, and licensing officers responsible for developing and implementing DoD technology security and foreign disclosure policies for international transfers of defense-related goods, services, information, and technology.
