Foreign National Visits and Assignments Program

The Department of War (DoW) and DoW security-cleared contractor facilities host thousands of official foreign national visitors annually. Hundreds of these visitors are foreign government representatives that have been assigned to DoW organizations and DoW cleared contractor facilities in different capacities. DTSA serves as the DoW office of primary responsibility for the development and promulgation of policies and procedures for official visits and assignments of foreign nationals to DoW organizations and DoW cleared contractor facilities. These policies and procedures are then published as Department directives.
