Manned Aircraft Division (MAD)
The Manned Aircraft Division (MAD) is DTSA's principal source of technical insight, advice and analysis on international transfers of manned aircraft. The Integrated Product Team consists of senior engineers and licensing officers who are recognized experts on the most sensitive aircraft technologies that contribute to the U.S. military advantage. The Division applies their knowledge and expertise on a daily basis in order to shape and influence DoD technology security policy.
Semiconductors, Cyber, Land and Sea (SCLS) Division
The Semiconductors, Cyber, Land and Sea Division is DTSA's principal source of technical insight, advice and analysis on international transfers within the Division’s portfolio. The Integrated Product Team consists of senior engineers and licensing analysts who are recognized experts on the most sensitive technologies that contribute to the U.S. military advantage. The Division applies their knowledge and expertise on a daily basis in order to shape and influence DoD technology security policy. Technologies include semiconductors, cybersecurity, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, naval vessels, naval guns, naval mines, naval systems, firearms, ammunition, artillery, mortars, fuzes, land mines, active protection systems, armor, ground vehicles, robots, military training, machine tools, chemical, biological, and nuclear.
Sensors and Electronics Division (SED)
The Sensors and Electronics Division is DTSA's principal source of technical insight, advice and analysis on international transfers within the Division’s portfolio. The Integrated Product Team consists of senior engineers and licensing analysts who are recognized experts on the most sensitive technologies that contribute to the U.S. military advantage. The Division applies their knowledge and expertise on a daily basis in order to shape and influence DoD technology security policy. Technologies include imaging and non-imaging sensors across the electromagnetic and acoustic spectrums and related simulators, electronic warfare, lasers, directed energy weapons, precision navigation and timing systems, radios, communications and intelligence systems, countermeasures, and fire control systems.
Missiles, UAVs, and Space (MUS) Division
The Missiles, UAVs, and Space Division is DTSA’s principal source of technical insight, advice and analysis on international transfers of space and missile technologies. The Integrated Product Team consists of senior engineers and licensing officers who are recognized experts on the most sensitive aircraft technologies that contribute to the U.S. military advantage. The Division applies their knowledge and expertise on a daily basis in order to shape and influence DoD technology security policy.
